Doug Reitz, Harris Construction, has taken the role of manager.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Promote and connect the local construction industry through online exposure and regular meetings/events
  • Develop and/or support the Center for Construction Excellence (CCE) in partnership with California State University Fresno’s College of Engineering
  • Streamline the permitting process within city planning departments
  • Actively engage in economic initiatives that will benefit the industry
  • Develop a network of resources

Short-term Goals

  • Cluster brainstorm to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Develop an Advisory Board
  • Update mission as well as goals/objectives
  • Develop meeting schedules and communication preferences
  • Update and enhance online exposure and tools
  • Engage industry stakeholders throughout Fresno County
