Develop and/or support logistics and distribution programs at California State University, Fresno, and local community colleges
Promote and connect local logistics and distribution providers through online exposure and regular meetings and/or events
Promote Fresno County as an ideal location for logistics and distribution providers
Develop a network of resources

Short-term Goals

Cluster brainstorm to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Recruit a Cluster Chair and an advisory committee
Develop mission as well as goals/objectives
Develop meeting schedules and communication preferences
Update and enhance online exposure and tools
Engage industry stakeholders throughout Fresno County

Background

The Advanced Logistics and Distribution Cluster was formed to realize the industry's growth potential created by central California's enviable location and the region's low cost of doing business relative to the rest of the state.
