Attend an Industry Cluster Meeting
Business owners or business managers in one of the RJI's target industries--advanced manufacturing, arts and culture, clean energy, construction, food processing, health care, information processing: call centers, logistics and distribution, public sector, software development, tourism, water technology--will find the best way to get involved is to attend the next industry cluster meeting. Meeting dates and information are available on the RJI calendar, and invitations are open to any industry member.
Attend RJI Annual Community Meetings
An annual community meeting is held to update the public on progress and challenges to date. There is no charge to attend the community meeting. Invest in Core Leadership
To accelerate and scale the many initiatives that are transforming our community, we need to invest in more entrepreneurial "steward leaders," those people with the skills, passion and commitment to cast a vision and inspire the best in all of us.
Get Engaged in Civic Life
It is time for our region to take charge of its own destiny. Our region is undergoing a fundamental transformation as an increasing number of organizations and individuals find ways to work together to tackle historically insolvable problems. Opportunities exist to help with RJI projects. There are also numerous nonprofits and schools seeking assistance. To review opportunities for engagement check out www.volunteerfresno.org.
Support Elected Officials
Vote for "pro-jobs" candidates in local and state elections to help ensure RJI initiatives will gain policy and funding attention at the government level. Write to local government officials to let them know you support and appreciate their support of RJI.
Promote the Community Values
The Community Values of the Fresno Region encourage collaborative transformation. Your business, school or community organization can adopt and promote the community values as a way of showing your commitment to making Fresno a better place to live and do business.
